Including a workshop on Prison Abolition

Workshop Title: Stopping the Titan Prisons: How and Why to Get Involved in Prison Abolition Struggles

Aim of meeting: To provide an overview of the current crisis of prison expansion in Britain and to share information about prison abolition struggles. Drawing specifically on anti-racist feminist, queer and trans approaches, this workshop introduces key ideas of prison abolition, reviews current campaigns against imprisonment and offers concrete tools for taking action to stop prison expansion in Britain.
